chris and shannons wedding at the Santa Barbara Courthouse pt1

wedding at the Santa Barbara Courthouse in the Mural Room

99 bottles of fun on the wall, 99 bottles of fun. take one down, pass it around, one less bottle of fun on the wall.

shannon and chris kicked off our 2011 with a bottle of fun destination wedding at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. in fact, they made a sweet little santa barbara weekend of it. i had never been to the historic santa barbara county courthouse before, but as soon as i saw it i was geeking out on all the cool old spanish architecture. then i saw where they were having their ceremony. amazeballs! they chose to have their wedding in the mural room. i have to say it is one of the most incredible venues for a wedding in california. it made the perfect backdrop for chris and shannon’s hotness. more on that soon.

chris and shannon, you are awesome and so are your families. i think everyone should have a fun family portrait like the one you guys did. i’m so glad you found us and that i got to share this wonderful day with you all.

i’m  working on your images and will have more up soon, but until then i thought i would slip in a little sneak peek to hold you over.

congratulations you two. we’ll be seeing more of you really soon.

big mahalo also to austin curtis for helping me out while kim was down for the count.

[…] total permagrins going like you were on your first date or something. i loved it! i said it in your sneak peek and i’ll say it again, i hope every wedding i ever shoot from now on has families as fun as […]

This looks like it was one fabulous wedding! The Santa Barbara Courthouse is so nice, great place to get married! I was actually just in a wedding in Santa Barbara and it was a great time. Right on the beach, couldn’t of asked for a better day. We all stayed at the Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). So affordable and right in the heart of Santa Barbara.

These black and white and fun photos are the way to go when shooting a wedding. Traditional is nice and all but sometimes you gotta let your hair down and enjoy the moment instead of being so posed! The Courthouse is so beautiful and open, spacious, great for a wedding! Santa Barbara in itself is beautiful and I always love visiting. I love staying at the Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). Cheap and close to everything, making my life so much easier when it comes to driving!

My WOW! These are stunning, especially that first one!
