Oh boy! We really do hit the jackpot with High School Seniors. I mean, how insanely cute is Prestin? She was visiting all the way from Washington, and apparently brought the cold! Brr… it was 57′ with a wind chill factor of -1000′ I thought I was going to die. Am I being a bit dramatic? Maybe, but hey, we live in San Diego. Anything below 75′ is freezing. ;)
Psst… do you see what I see in this first shot? No? Look hardaah (Rafiki voice)… cute right?
Prices jumped up again the last week. Are they trying to push us off the Galaxy’s Edge? ;)
New bricks and wider tracks on Main Street, U.S.A. make BoJack a happy horse :)
Disney’s version of The Wall and Castle Black. It would be kinda cool to see Mickey turn Maleficent into an Ice Dragon. It’s been cold enough!
As we neared the Matterhorn summit, we crossed paths with the Evil Queen.
The Evil Queen stepped into Prestin’s shot and said, “Now it’s a good photo” then walked off. The shade.
I love this series, and how cute she looks. There’s that wind I was talking about. Brr…
Pluto ran up to Prestin, excited for her to take him for a walk through Toontown.
Love when the Tabebuia Rosea (Trumpet Trees) are in bloom. Too bad they don’t bloom all year. Trumpets… castle… coincidence? I think NOT! ;D
Weekday in February… oh where, oh where has the “slow season” gone? Oh where, oh where can you be? Gone forever, that’s where.
Hidden Mickey!
I get the feeling the Evil Queen doesn’t like Mickey balloons, or other things wearing her color.
Prestin, you’re gorgeous! Thank you for choosing me to do your senior photos at Disneyland. You were super fun to work with. Best of luck in college, and beyond.
Dinner is served! Thanks Prestin’s dad! Raspberry or Salted Caramel Macaron or Matterhorn Macaroon? Either way, you can’t go wrong!
Here are the latest additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Disney California Adventure… Black Panther and the Dora Milaje! It was super cool to see them up-close and in-person. I think we just found our group costumes for Halloween this year. If you haven’t seen the Black Panther movie yet, you should… right now. It’s cool, exciting, and relevant. Don’t miss out on this HUGE piece of culture… lest you be an uncultured swine. :)
In other Disney news… the (bride) auction has ended. Pirates shouting “We wants the redhead!” may want to be careful what they wish for. When she returns in March we will all discover that she’s actually the swashbuckling ginger pirate from Ireland, Anne Bonny. Pirates of the Caribbean was the last attraction Walt Disney worked on from beginning to end before he passed, but as he said “Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world.” We can’t wait to see the new scene!
Mickey and his crew are still working hard on Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Here’s the latest view from a distance. The spires are getting higher. Open! Open! Open!
