I consider it a blessing if you get to be in one wedding in your lifetime. If you’re lucky, you get invited to a few others. If you’re really lucky, you get to attend ridiculously fun weddings like this one. Meagan and Taylor’s wedding at The Handlery Hotel was in-sane, in the best possible way.
I hope everyone looking at these photos can feel the love and happiness that we witnessed that day. A wedding is always about the union of a couple, but Meagan and Taylor made theirs bigger somehow. Every person there, whether they were a relative, friend, or some rando at the pool, felt like they were family. Everyone came together, as one, to celebrate this amazing couple.
I remember stopping, more than a few times that day, and thinking to myself… this is awesome.
When you get to the reception shots, take a look at how many people are on the dance floor with Meagan and Taylor. It was stuffed to the gills all night long. Everyone just wanted to be near them, having the time of their lives.
Taylor and his boys have been saving this bottle for a special occasion. After all, it’s not every day that you celebrate Mr. Jacks 160th birthday, or your best friends wedding.
we now return to our regularly scheduled program.
the girls did their best to hide Meagan from the boys as she headed to the secret spot to get her first look at Taylor
normally, we like to stash everyone out of sight for the couple’s first look, but we just had to let Meagan and Taylor’s moms see this awesome moment.
I haven’t done this myself (yet), but I can imagine the rush of emotions that go through a father’s heart when he walks his daughter down the aisle. It’s definitely a major life moment.
The rings were kept secret, and kept safe, but something happened then the rings did not intend… they abandoned Rhys.
I can’t talk about Meagan and Taylor’s wedding without the words family and fun. I love vintage wedding photos, and I love that Meagan and Taylor worked their parent’s wedding photos into their own. Someday this will be a double vintage photo. Bonus!
thug life
After Taylor and his mom had everybody tearing up, Meagan and her dad gave her mom a little tequila surprise… a la Pee Wee.
I wish we could do the time warp again and go back to this night.
Congratulations Meagan and Taylor! I hope this night sucks compared to the rest of your life together.
